Hi marta - Congratulations on getting approved! isn't it great to know the longest wait in this part of the process is over? I actually have no clear idea of what will happen after this...I found this number on for NVC on the visa journey website 603 334-0700...but I haven't called it so I don't know what will happen with that....I haven't received my approval in the mail yet (i just saw it online), so I haven't seen any instructions for what happens next - all I know is that the petition will go to NVC, hopefully only stay there a couple of days, and then be sent to the embassy in the country of the beneficiary (for my fiance that will be ARgentina)....then the emabassy will contact the fiance and tell them what to do for the interview...so I'm sorry I'm not very much help - but there are a lot of other people on this website who are full of information so I'd suggest just posting your specific questions in the K1 visa forum and I'm sure you'll get some answers soon. Good luck!

hi mich08...

dont worry about that you tried and that is what matters... I will try to call to NVC on monday... because theres going to be more days... I just wonder how I should ask then about because I dont have the NVC case number yet... I think that I just going to trust on my lucky... good luck for you too... and youare right... when you know that you are aproved... you feel much better...

greetings...

Marta

Hey everyone! Yesterday I checked on my USCIS account to see if there'd been any touches and sure enough, it had been 'touched' (date changed to yesterday's date)! That was yesterday and I hadn't checked for a week or two so I was pretty psyched...I checked again today and it was updated again with a STATUS update that said on October 15 my approval had been sent for the Fiance Petition! (no email notification as I requested on the account, so looks like they don't keep up on that part but as of right now, i don't even care!) Woo-hoo! After 125 days....pretty good for California right? Ok, onward through the rest of the process and good luck to everyone else...

Hi everyone! We also got our approval today - 2oth of October.

How do we track our case at NVC??

Hi and congrats! We just received the hard copy of our approval and if I'm not mistaken, you just wait and if after four weeks you don't get a notice from NVC saying that your case has been sent to the embassy you call the number (given on the NOA2 approval) and they might tell you something....I was kinda wondering the same thing and if anyone with experience has info on this maybe you could clear it up for us newbies....the NOA2 says that with the notice that the NVC sends us, will be included a 'unique tracking number' or something like that, but I don't know what good that is because the notice they're sending is to say that your case is now on it's way to the embassy, so there wouldn't be a need to track the case at NVC any longer would there? Maybe I'm confused....Actually I'm in Argentina with my fiance right now and my mom just read the letter to me over skype so I might have things a little twisted...help anyone?

in some VJ members' timelines i ve noticed that the process of NVC receiving and forwarding case to a relevant embassy is quite fast, sometimes all happenes within a week. time lines are updates with when the case was received/send., so i was wondering where people have this info from...
