A few over the internet immigrant "friendly" banks that have been good.. they include HSBC, Provident Bank (MD), Century Bank (KY)

A few over the internet immigrant "unfriendly" banks.... include Flagstar, Venture, GMAC, AmTrust

^^Add Regions to the 'unfriendly' list.

ETA we had smooth sailing with Bank of America. Guess it depends on the boneheads (or in our case, lack thereof) at the local branch.
