Dear all,

i recived my 2years grren card through my husband. we are now in Phoenix and moving to texas end of October. Do both myslef and my husband ( sponsor) need to change address? If yes what form should i fill and my husband. pls help me.. thanks

AOS Timeline:

Feb. 15, 2008 - Got married

Feb. 29, 2008 - Apllied SSN with married name

Mar. 11, 2008 - Packet mailed (AOS, EAD, & AP)

Mar. 12, 2008 - AOS pkt was delivered

Mar. 18, 2008 - Check cashed!!

Mar. 20, 2008 - Received NOAs for AOS, EAD, & AP as notice date on 17th March

Mar. 25, 2008 - Received Bio. Appointment Letter

Apr. 9, 2008 - Bio. Appointment Date

Apr. 2, 2008 - SS Card received

Apr. 9, 2008 - I-485 and I-765 are online

May. 7, 2008 - Email notification of EAD "card production ordered"/approval of Travel Document

May. 12, 2008 - Received AP in mail

May. 15, 2008 - Received EAD Approval email

May. 17, 2008 - Received EAD card in mail

Aug. 20, 2008 - AOS Interview (Recived Interview Letter on June 27)

Aug. 25, 2008 - Received welcome letter

Sep. 2, 2008 - Received 2 years green card

06/17/2010 - Mailed I-751 packet via Priority mail to VSC

Searching is easy... you should try it. :rofl:

I went to WWW.USCIS.GOV and typed "change of address" in the search box and BAM... the information just popped up.

You need to file form AR-11 or even do it online. If you choose to do it online, don't forget to print it out so you can have it for your records.

Your husbad and co-sponsor (if you used one) need to file form I-865 which can be found in the USCIS web site. Save a copy for your records and mail it via certified mail so you can prove you sent it.

Both forms need to be filed within 30 days of moving.

One confusion!! I already recived my 2 years green card and apply for 10 year green card before 2 years? Does my husband still need to fill up I-865 form beacause my 2 years green card already approved. Thanks.

I think the AR-11 will do, both of you, because you don't have any case pending at the USCIS at this time. Your husband can do it online, and you may want to do it online and also mail in an AR-11, just to cover the bases. :star:
