I'll only elect Joe if he stomps on goombas and turtles.

Why don't you run for president...

If there is time we'll put your name on the ballot.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Timeline

"Mr Wurzelbacher said the company earned $250,000-$280,000 (£144,800-£162,250) a year"

Really not very precise information, Joe says that is what the company earns, and not what he earns, quite a difference, and doesn't state whether this is gross or net profit. Any business has a great number of tax deductions, accounting, taxes, lease or building costs, needs space for inventory, needs specialized vans to haul all that stuff around, needs tools, casualty and liability insurance, labor, telephone expenses, the list goes on and on. He also has competition, lots of competition, with many first tier suppliers in Ohio that have lost jobs that were supplying Detroit to China and even Canada, leaving a lot of guys out of work that are going into the trades that hasn't made it to Chine, yet. Plus many illegals working in the trades.

Joe is worried about paying taxes? He should be worrying about earning a living, instead of Joe learning how to push a plastic garden hose through a wall, he better learn about running a business.

BS is certainly the correct word for Joe.
