In the early 90ies I played in "Sweet Jane" aka "The Attic Boys", a Belgian band which briefly enjoyed some local succes in and around Antwerp.

Starting out as "the Attic Boys", a typical cover band with some original tunes, we later changed the name to "Sweet Jane" after getting into Velvet Underground material.

The featured instrumental "Alone", one of the more easy-listening tunes in our setlist was recorded on a casette recorder during reheasals way back in 1991.

Before my move to the USA I transferred my collection of tape recordings to MP3.

I tried to clean up the original rough audio as much as possible and added some fake stereo.

I scanned some pics to make this clip... My little blast from the past, and a premiere for the band which never made it to the top... but it was all good fun, and that's what counts!

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(
