Now that we're $545 lighter in the bank and I have an obscure number on the front of the cheque I'm assuming I can use the number, like we did in the K1 to login and view our case status? The number looks like: EAC0000000000

At this point in the process nothing should be shocking or exciting me but I'm both shocked and excited!

Ok.. the stupid number isn't right, maybe I've the wrong number, there is no number?, I'm not reading it correctly.. etc either way I can't get into the case! I posted the top of the cheque with the number.. it looks like EAC to me but isn't working.. I tried EAG, EAJ, EAO, EACO.. ah well.. I shouldn't worry this should mean I'll have an NOA1 very soon?!?!

Hi there,

That number you have stamped on the check is not a number you will use to check your status, now your check has been cashed, you will probably get your NOA1 in the mail and it will tell you specifically, that you shouldn't use the NOA1 number to check your case status online. The number you will use to check status is the one that will be issued when you get your Biometrics appointment letter NOA 2. thats the one you will get. for now you just have to wait, they only start processing cases for removal of conditions when you have completed your Biometics and not before, all they do in the first instance is, check for documentation and completion of your docs and reviews, and then decide if you will come for an interview or not.I am glad your paperwork has finally gone through. Goodluck

I don't think you can trace the I-751 until you get the biometric appointment letter which is supposed to have a tracking number.
