You need to be at %125 of the US poverty level, which is set very low actually, last time I checked it was $16,000.00 yearly income, so you need to make at least $20,000.00 a year. But if you dont make that much you can have someone who does sign to co-sponsor your fiance

This is incorrect.

I'm not sure where you're getting your information but $25,000 is more than enough to meet the guidelines if there is just 2...or even 3 of them.

The link Devkpaik provided shows the poverty level based on number of people in the household and location. Take the value and multiply by 1.25.

I believe if you are military, then you can qualify if you meet the poverty threshold, not 125% of the poverty threshold.
