You know what I loved about McCain's stupidity, the suggestion that building nuclear reactors solves our oil problem.

Really? Does McCain know that unless we build cars to run on nuclear power, or go mostly/entirely to electric-powered vehicles (BEV's), building nuclear reactors does sh!t, beyond the fact that most of the few nuclear plants that were now in the planning stages have been temporarily or indefinitely scrapped because of the economy.

Don't know if you noticed but McCain never looks directly at the camera. You are TALKING TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE you idiot!!! you are not having a nice chitchat with the moderator nor having a battle of wills with Obama. IT'S US WHO YOU SHOULD BE TALKING TO , IT'LL BE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO WILL ELECT YOU IN CASE YOU WIN, IT'LL BE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO YOU WILL BE SERVING AS PRESIDENT AND IT'S THE AMERICAN PEOPLE TUNING IN TO LISTEN TO WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY.

:ranting:

You lie. McCain was trying to convince Bob Schieffer to give him his vote.

Hahaha, by the way he was having a 1-on-1 with him, I'm pretty sure that he didn't. Even Joe the plomero is thinking now about it and moreover about sending him a cease/desist order to stop using his name or else...

"Elections have consequences. You should pay attention to their qualifications", McCain comments when asked whether he could nominate someone to the court who disagrees with him on Roe vs. Wade. Sure, elections have consequences: Bush has tried hard, and pretty successfully, to pack the court with right-wing ideologues. Is McCain saying, elections have consequences, and the Senate should roll over, play dead, and allow the Executive to pack the court?

Evidently McCain has been for consolidation of executive power, ridding of separation of powers, and reducing oversight by the judiciary by packing it with political idealists. Sadly while this was long an issue in the courts before, it's only, since Bush, got this much attention, because of his big mouth in admitting he needs to pack the courts with good ol' conservative justices.

McCain's ideals of helping women is forcing them to have a kid they don't want.

Strange how conservative "choices" means elimination of them.

There it is.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

I really cannot believe such things are even on the table.

How can the government decide what women can or cannot do with their bodies.

I can swear in at least 5 languages, so pretend you heard me right about now.

Seriously something is truly effed up here in this supposedly modern country that things like abortion and religion are on the table...oh and the lack of national medicare being on the table....

What a joke!

Voters, please please please wake up and smell reality.

I don't see the equivalence at all. Hunting the animals you eat is something most of us do. Some people hunt it themselves and other, like myself, outsource the job to Perdue :)

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.

Did anyone catch McCain's comment about "Cadillac" insurance plans that cover cosmetic surgery and transplants? Did he mean implants? Or is he equating a facelift w/ an organ transplant? I'm paraphrasing, but his wording was something like, "cosmetic surgery, and transplants, and things like that."

#######?

Has anyone even heard of a health insurance plan that covers cosmetic surgery? (I'm not talking about stuff like breast reconstruction.)

He is really on another planet.

Heating oil accounts for about 25% of the yield of a barrel of crude oil, the second largest "cut" after gasoline. If people could use nuclear power to heat their homes instead, we'd have up to 25% more oil available for gasoline.

Giving you that, it's still not even close to enough.

Me thinks you don't know much about what powers

A. industry

B. Electricity to charge those cute little cars Obama keeps promising.

Methinks you don't know much about: Nuclear power does nothing to help oil-powered combustion engines, as you can't get oil from the power grid.

He is really on another planet.

I think he was referring to Implants as in, hair implants.

If you can afford a premium you can find a Insurance company that will cover just about anything.

Does anyone doubt that the Govt run Healthcare, in time will include things like Viagra and certain cosmetic surgeries?

It only takes one case to get before a judge somewhere who agrees, a full head of hair plugs will in fact aid someone in their self image ... thereby improving their mental health.

Boy, if it isn't prophetic slippery slope argument making it's way into health care again. Not surprising.

Two dirt bags detailing how they will violate the constitution. Nothing new there.

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.
