The only objection I've heard from McCain about Obama's health plan is that you may pay a fine if you don't insure your kids. Is that seriously the only objection he has? I can't believe that's the only flaw in Obama's plan (its not of course). That's seriously the best he can do?

Sure, elections have consequences: Bush has tried hard, and pretty successfully, to pack the court with right-wing ideologues. He's doing better than last time. But as I say he's pretty clumsy with the trump cards - he fizzled Joe the Plumber and he's fizzling on Obama's spending on negative ads.

That's the same criticism from the last debate. He's committed to it now - I guess he's betting on that people are angrier at Obama's background and associations than they are about the state of the country and how McCain plans to fix it.

Evidently McCain has been for consolidation of executive power, ridding of separation of powers, and reducing oversight by the judiciary by packing it with political idealists. Sadly while this was long an issue in the courts before, it's only, since Bush, got this much attention, because of his big mouth in admitting he needs to pack the courts with good ol' conservative justices.

McCain's ideals of helping women is forcing them to have a kid they don't want.

Strange how conservative "choices" means elimination of them.

I was thinking that myself. Obama has been spelling out more of McCain's policies in order to contrast his own than McCain ever has.

That actually has been one of my biggest pet peeves about McCain spelling out his ideas/policies. He's way too nebulous and low on specifics, and way too trigger happy to blast Obama with half-truths.
