Congrats to everyone who got approved from CSC and VSC, but I am especially hoping for more approvals from CSC, I am an Aug filer, but it does please me to see that CSC has approved a lot of late July filers, keep the NOA2's coming CSC!

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

How did you find out they are processing people with July 20 date??? I fail to see any rhyme of reason in what they are doing, since a bunch of late of July filers already got approved, but people who filed earlier are still waiting. :(

If you go to the top of this thread it says Immigration Timelines. click it, on the right it says processing dates for CSC and VSC. yeah, there is no sense in it. Some people from 2007 are waiting while I've seen ppl from last month get approved. idk.

I guess its a general timeline guide. i'm just looking for something.

Ah, thank you! I see it now. I wonder what it's based upon? And, by the way, right now it says July 18... :(

I hear you about looking for something to try and make sense of this mess. Wish I knew the answer.

I also got approved hooray!!!!

Now Im confused, I emailed the Lawyer(who is useless btw) and he told me to do the following :

The process is:

1) You mail the petition to the USCIS according to our instructions and in about 3 weeks receive a receipt for it (Form 797C); please fax me a copy of this form.

2) In about 3-4 months you receive notice of approval of your petition (Form 797); please fax me a copy of this form, (time varies with USCIS workload).

3) In about 2-3 weeks you receive instructions from the National Visa Center asking for you to designate a mailing agent and some additional information and/or informing you that the approved petition is being forwarded to the consulate where your fiance/spouse lives. Respond to the NVC as indicated and designate yourself as the agent so you will get your future communications. The actual letter from the visa center will vary somewhat depending on the type of visa you are applying for. Follow the instructions in the letter.

4) The NVC will send your approved petition to the consulate where your fiance/spouse lives (it takes about 2-3 weeks)

5) In 2-3 weeks the consulate will send you a letter with instructions and requests for forms and information; fax me this letter and I will help you with their requests.

6) The consulate will schedule an interview and after it the visa will be issued.

do any of u guys know if that true?

I thought i had to send documentation showing that i supported her financially
