omg yes it is, ok so do we receive another letter from NVC?

We haven't received one yet but I do think they send it eventually. I'm going to call them Monday night and see what's up.

ok good because it written on the NOA2 that we will receive a letter from them but when i called on friday they said that they wont send it so i got confused, but i think the lady was just wrong or confused,

anyway, we will see what happens this week wow im excited

yes this will be a good summer inshalllah.

Comments : My application was touched atleast 12 times before getting to NVC

01/04/09: Went to senators office to speak to them about an inquiry into my case.

01/06.09: Senators office send letter of inquiry to UNCIS CSC.

02/18/09: Called USCIS asked for service request

02/21/09: Recieved letter from USCIS that im in security checks :( and to call beck in 6 nonths..... WOW

02/25/09: APPPRROOVVVVAAALLLL NOA2 Alhumduallah

03/05/09: NVC receives papers

03/06/09: NVC send papers to counsulate

03/12/09: Counsulate have papers

03/27/09: Packet 3

04/02/09: Doctors (everything is a-okay0

04/28/09: Interview

04/28/09: AP ( need nothing further will call when able to proceed

05/04/09: Counsulate call and tell her to come 05/06/09 to counsulate for appointment? Told to bring passport......Is this the day???

05/06/09: Second interview (everything went well) Counsulate keep passport

05/07/09: Call from counsulate to pick up visa tomorrow

05/08/09: VIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAA IN HAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!

ALLLLLLLLHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMDDDDDDDDDDDDDUUUAAALLLAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!

My fiance call NVC last night and they got our file!! and they will sending to the Guatemala embassy in a week aprox.. so i really hope so!!

PS you have to talk whit a real person, not whit the automated voice, try call tonight!

NVC received our file March 5 and sent it to Brasil on the 6th. The automated system didn't have it because we are K1. I had to call and talk to an operator at like 11 pm eastern time to find out what was up. They gave us our new case number then too.

hi guys, quick Q. What does the valid dates mean on the noa2? for example, mine says: valid 2/27/09 - 6/27/09. Does this mean we must have our k1 approval by 6/27/09?

Yes that's what it means but I've heard that if the embassy takes longer to process your case they'll extended for NOA2 time. Most embassies don't take that long to approve your K1 so you're good.

I asked the same thing in the Canadian Forum. I was told that the consulate automatically extends the expiration date if they can't grant an interview in time.

How's everyone doing? Anyone's cases moved to the embassy yet?

ok, thank you! I called NVC today and my case has been moved overseas as of the 11th.
