Should this be a very formal cut-and-dry 'just the facts ma'am' type supplement to question 18 or is this a place to let some humanity show thru?

Do you talk about the details of what you did or let your pieces of evidence tell that tale---?

anybody have an example of their question 18 you could post?

Thanks,

John in SC

I basically told our story- how we met, how often we talk, when I visited, how much we are in love, how we want to get married and talked about it with his Dad while I was there... mine was almost a half a page just basically explaining our relationship and our intentions.

Good luck!

ps. I'm looking for mine to paste here as an example but it seems to have dissapeared, I'll keep looking.

here is what I sent: I'm sure some people would say its a little overboard but I just wanted to be clear and explain everything so here it is!

Continuation of Part B question 18 on the I-129F form:

Declaration of having met in the past 2 years:

I met Hicham on the internet in December 2004. Shortly after that we started talking everyday on Skype, an internet telephone service everyday sometimes for several hours at a time. We speak to eachother in French as Hicham does not yet speak English fluently and because I speak French fluently so it is much easier to communicate in French. We found that we had a lot in common and were very happy talking to eachother and sending emails back and forth everyday. I planned a trip to Morocco for the summer in August 2005 and returned in September 2005. We traveled together for a week in Marrakech, Essaouira, Agadir, and Ifrane in Morocco and for the rest of the time I was at Hicham’s family’s house in Mohammedia Morocco. We spent a lot of time together there and decided to think about marriage. I returned to the US and we continued to talk every night and I began planning my next trip to Morocco to see him again. I had Hicham start filling out the I-129F petition forms, and he sent them back to me. We talked everyday until I went back to Morocco on Nov 30th 2005. We spent time traveling once again to Marrakech and for the rest of the time we stayed with Hicham’s family. We talked to his Dad about marriage and our plans for Hicham to come to the US to go to school and work and get married and his Dad was happy for us. I am now planning another trip to Morocco in March over Spring break for 2 weeks to see my fiancé. I call him frequently from my cell phone using a phone card, we speak everyday on Skype for several hours, and we exchange emails everyday. I am including airline tickets, phone card bills, photos, and passport stamps in order to give evidence that we have seen eachother and that we have an ongoing relationship and wish to be married.

Thank you,

Sarah
