Interview Scheduled in Cd. Juarez

In case it helps anyone, I wanted to let you all know that my case for a CR1 visa was completed with the NVC as of Sept. 9th, and I just got notice today that my interview is set for Nov. 3rd. I was quite surprised by the news since I thought I would have to wait a couple of months.

My interview falls on a Monday, and I have to travel there and stay in a hotel over the weekend because I have to do a medical beforehand. Do people suggest that I get there extra early and do the medical on a Thrusday, or is getting it on a Friday okay? Also, can I plan to leave Juarez on the evening of my interview (whether approved or denied)? I will post a timeline so that others can see the progress of my case. I thought things moved quickly (of course, I say that now looking back).

Hello jenny2007,

I am the petitioner and also going the IR-1/CR-1 route and waiting on a Juarez interview. DS-230 was recieved by NVC on 10/10 so now i am just wiating for CASE COMPLETE.

I appreciate you posting because that gives me hope that my wife's interview could happen in December. It would also be great if you could post your timeline so I can compare and get a better feel for our interveiw date.

Thanks and please share with us still waiting for interviews some details and what to expect.
