October I-130 approvals!!! Onward to NVC!!!

I just called NVC. I spoke to a very nice lady who verified that my case arrived today. She also gave me my case number. When can my wife e-mail her choice of agent form (DS-3032)?

i believe not until u know the forms have been sent fro the nvc (she told me 2-6 weeks) for those forms to go out but we know how that goes

I called two times yesterday and the system still says " No record of this case ....". Last night I decided to speak to an operator and see why I am still getting this response. I was told, yes we have your case, we are processing it and it takes time to show up on the system. She told me that my Choice of agent and bill have been generated on 10/17. Can you believe it! all this time, the system has not been updated yet. She refused to give me the IIN. She said, she doesn't have that information. I should be receiving it in the package with the choice of agent form.

So, my question is:

Do I go ahead and ask my wife to send the choice of agent email? I read somewhere, that unless the case is loaded to the system, it's useless to email or send mail about the case?

hey guys. those of you who didn't get an email how did you find out that you were approved?? did you find out online or called USCIS?

In your case, the DS-3032 has been generated. You can e-mail and/or mail them your DS-3032. Keep calling NVC to get your IIN. Tell them that you need Invoice Identification #. They do not understand IIN. Good luck.

My petitions were approved 10/14/08 at the VSC. Still I do not not have a case number with the NVC. They say that they have not received my petitions. Anyone else in the same boat? Has anyone else been approved by VSC 10/14 or later and what is your status at the NVC? I know that I am a little paranoid but should it really take this long?

the first time i got the case number and ask about the agent they also told me 2-6 weeks, i skipped yesterday and called today and they showed agent to be sent to me today, so im guessing i will rec sometime first part of next week

You should be receiving your IIN and instructions on how to pay the AOS, all options are explained in the package(email or mail). The same package will include a copy of the ds3032 form that they have sent to the beneficiary, explanations of all options are included.

My AOS package was generated 10/17. I received the mail 10/23. 10/23 night I paid the AOS bill. I checked this evening, it shows paid.

They always mention it will take few weeks of processing. also, I still hear the " no record ..." when I call the AVR. I don't rely on it anymore.

How's everybody? Just wondering about the status for your I30 approvals.

My petition was approved Oct 17, and since then I've been calling NVC once or twice a week to check if they already received my paper. Everytime I called AVR always says "NO RECORD". On the 24th I called and spoke to an operator he said that they dont have my paperwork yet. Today I called again and AVR still says "NO RECORD" but since i felt so hopeless, I decided to talk to the operator and finally he said that they have my case on 10/23 and today they generated the DS3032 and AOS.

It feels GREAT!

Anyways, they didn't give me the IIN - they said to wait for the packet that they will mail out. Which is fine, i 'll try again next time. I will just email them DS3032 for now.

I know brnidokiegurl got approved in October. Anyone else? I'm familiar with the basics of the NVC process but need to get better educated in a hurry.

i also got approved in 24 octobre today i got by mail the hard copy of the approval notice, i am wondering how can i check if NVC has recievd my case? and which information i need to have once i call them?
