But Obama wasn't a moron when he said he had been in 57 statest the last 18 months? And he wasn't including Alaska and Hawaii.

There's a pretty good rationale for him misspeaking on that occasion - count the primary contests up to that point and you'll find that there were - you guessed it - 57 of them. Now you still have to explain how that comes even close to moving a state to the other side of the country.

And the 57 primaries were in 57 different states? I think even the stupidist people in the US know that there are 50 states, let alone a Presidential candidate. Of course his running mate said that Herbert Hoover went on TV and spoke to the people about the depression. But that wasn't stupid at all, was it?? Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Actually it was worse than that. Biden said that Franklin Roosevelt, who was not president at the time, went on tv, which was not available at the time, to speak of the depression.

Oh, don't undersell yourself VW, suggesting that Obama has some mystery agenda that only the few are privy too, that's pure genius.

I don't think that Palin was a wise choice for VP at this stage of her career. Maybe sometime in the future, but not now. She certainly is not capable of being President if something happened to McCain. He chose her for the wrong reasons, not because she was the best choice. She brought the desired boost to his campaign for a few weeks, but it is hurting him now.

And as Nixon would have said, "and furthermore, I am not a sheep."

Ah yes, the blind librul sheep. Well, sorry VW, I just don't buy the conspiracy theory bull #######. Barack Obama is just another politian and to be honest although I don't like him all that much, I prefer him to McCain. I had some respect for McCain until he chose Ms Palin as his running mate, and started all the smearing. Now I just think he's desperate. Desperate for one last shot at the top job, not because he cares about 'his friends' the American people, but because he's got himself on one last super ego trip before retirement. Nothing much else explains his recent behaviour.
