CSC processing I-751

Hi,

I'm just wondering about the CSC processing on I-751 applications. How long to wait for approval now a days?

I know they've been great on their processing time but seems like it's slowing down again.

The waiting time I know takes a while but with a good job offer at risk - TIME for me is so precious.

Thanks!

Applied on a Waiver I-751:

  • Application sent ............................................08-20-2008
  • Application received by CSC............................. 08-21-2008
  • Checks cashed by CSC.....................................08-25-2008
  • NOA1 - 1 year extension..................................08-26-2008
  • Verification letter of inclusion (son) I-751.........08-27-2008
  • NOA2 - Biometrics appoinment.........................09-26-2008
  • Son received NOA1 and biometrics appointment..09-17-2008
  • Son's biometrics...............................................09-27-2008

Bulanglang,

You appear to have your NOA1 so there is no risk for you to not be able to take a job, as the NOA1 extends your green card for a year. You should have an unrestricted social security card.

Timeline for Naturalization:

Day 1: Application delivered to AZ

Timeline for Removing Conditions:

Green card received 117 days after application was delivered to USCIS

Timeline for AOS:

I just sent out my package I-751 last Wed (10/8) to CSC, my check was cashed on 10/10 (Friday), but so far I have not received any notice yet.

I find out applications during May to June sent out to CSC were all approved last Month Sept, it takes less time (about 3 to 4 months) than expected (6 to 8 months)

Just what I thought would be the processing time now. CSC is really doing a good job.

I will just wait...it's just that my boss ask me about it too you know. That's why I'm concerned.

Good job offer is hard to find now a days...

Thank you guys for the response, I appreciate it!

Unrestricted social security card is the same as a normal American gets, when you got your first SS card, it says on it " valid for work with authorization of DHS , when you get your green card, go back to SS office and present your ID card and your green card, then they will issue you an unrestricted one, just like any normal american citizen has, so if you haven't gotten yours, do so quickly. Its really important for Immigrants to have one
