The Republican National Committee hasn’t booked ads for the next week in Wisconsin TV markets after running a series of spots attacking Barack Obama and congressional Dems, according to TV sources.

The decision comes amid speculation on whether Republicans may pull back in Wisconsin after several polls in the past week showed Obama up over John McCain by double digits. An RNC spokesman referred calls to the party’s independent expenditure operation, which is in charge of the TV ad buys.

Wow... well you know, with folks all angry at Socialists and all, why worry about Wisconsin one way or the other?

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

There was a bit in the NYT this morning suggesting that McCain's poll numbers have slipped slightly because of the perception that he's running a negative campaign against Obama - spending more time rubbishing him than addressing issues.

Then again I saw on Fox the other night - various "contributors" slamming him and saying that he needs to use the last debate to hammer on the Reverend Wright / William Ayers issue.

Between a rock and a hard place I'd say...

The Faux News wackjobs will drive McCain right off the cliff if he listens to them.

Well like the other poster said last week - they'd give the debate to McCain even if he were to wet his trousers.

I didn't think they were celebrating his perfromance in the last debate.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Seriously I hope he takes it a bit more seriously than the last one - actually back up his claims to experience rather than just talking about how "I can do it" and "my record speaks for itself".

That maverick stuff is B/S - given that he basically flushed his principles away to appeal to religious conservatives. Besides - being a Maverick isn't something you just yip-yap about, its something you demonstrate with Maverick ideas (more specifically - maverick ideas to deal with today's problems).
