OMG OMG I got a hold of my hubby and yes it's TRUE... Embassy called him today to go anytime to get his visa!!! He was trying to surprise me but I beat him to that... :rofl: he will go tomorrow... OMG

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

I knew it.

This is about the same thing the Embassy did to Angie and Abed.

Make sure you tell him to be at the Embassy at 2pm sharp - there will be allot of people there.

When I took Hayz to get his we showed up at 2:04 and there was already 30 people in line.

This is so great. I bet you havent slept all night. :dance:

So when is he coming?????? HAYZ WILL BE HERE TOMORROW NIGHT. He is leaving Jordan at noon their time tomorrow....... :dance::devil::dance::devil::dance:

That's great!!!! I am excited for you!!!! I am sure Angie is picking up Abed by now, she told me he was flying today..... :dance:

We found a cheap ticket for 11/20 and he is going through Atlanta, isn't that your home town!?!?!? And on Delta...HAHAHA

They told him to pick it up at 3pm on Monday.......I am so excited you dont know... :dance:

Yes it took more then a year :crying: because I was waiting to become a US citizen for 12 years :crying: (they couldn't locate my A file for the longest time from when I first came into the country, I was 1 month old) and they did 5 months of secruity checks on me!!! Also I believe getting married to my hubby while I was in this process delayed me getting my citizenship. During my final interview most of the questions were about him and not me necessary.....It the whole Muslim thing that has people scared and sometimes I get sad about that!!! And then finally on July 2007 I became a US citizen :dance: and we upgraded...when we upgraded it was only suppose to take additional 3 or 4 months but it took 9 months because they did 3 months Secruity checks on my husband at USCIS... So this Journey has been a very long one for us Tammy....

Thank GOD it's almost over for us and this only made our relationship stronger and full of more and more patience!! Everything happens for a reason and it's GOD will, and this journey was our way of getting more patience in both my husband and I lives....Now we are ready to have a family :lol:
