how late is too late?

I had my visa appointment at 9.30 today. But at 9.30 we wewr just parking our car and rushing to the embassy. They gave us a red card to go first through security check. We came to a window at 9.40......If it was 10.00 would they deny interviewing us and made a new appointment?

thanks for any comments ;)

i dont think so...americans are usually easy going. that doesnt mean you can take advantage of them but they understand....sh*t happens...uve waited for them for all these months to take their nice time and approve applications, they can wait for you for 20-30 minutes?

Thanks ;)

Well, we made it to the appointment, but that thing"what would happen if there was traffic on the way and we wouldn't make it..."(we already bought our plane tickets for 22nd Nov.

I responded after 11 months, because I had a baby in October last year, then my husband got deployed, so when our life came back to normal I continued the visa process. We are staying overseas though. My husband got a contracting job in here. I need a green card for future visits to the USA (which I have to make at every 365 days not to loose my status) and e.g. to take up job on military base.

Good luck for everybody ;)
