Illinois has early bird voting from ocotber 13-30..i went to the city hall and cast my vote...

the judges told me that is was crazy as people were waiitng more than an hour and packed..i waited about 30 mintues and the line had 20 people ahead of me////they had 4 machines going/////

they said, obama is bringing oout the voters..this from the GOP judge..but was to be expected..Illinois is the Bluest of all the states...gov..2 senators..state all demorats...

so, onward.............obama

it was interesting group i was with 4 african-americans..12 seniors..3 working class lads and a couple of professionals.....we all stirred up a conversation..i was the facilitator and discussed the economy and that was the main issue..only 1 elderly lady was for mccain but she was changing her mind .....

again, illinois is a blue state and madison county a blue county, but the small poll was telling as some had voted gop the last 2 elections

my son is voting in washington state this year..and told me so..he misses the polls too..he says there are allot of miltary personnel for obama..allot to do with bush admin...policy with them in iraq and tours of duty, etc...

Wonderful I'm planning to be at the polls when they open to avoid the crowds. I live in a blue county in the middle of a solid red state. I count seven Obama signs just on our little street. There is so much energy and excitement around here now it's almost palpable.
