why it takes long our papers was sent to NVC after approval?

Hello everybody in this forum.... our petition was approve last September 12, 2008 and my fiancee receive letter from uscis that the processing of our papers it takes 2-4 weeks,and until this time we don't hear anything about our papers if it is was sent to NVC or not....My fiancee call the USCIS ,and the guy told him its case is different..and he never told us about our papers...

Is there anyone who can help us ,get more information about our case...I really get confused why it takes so long, because i know mostly after the petition was approve it is automatically sent to NVC after a few days....Please help me get more information about it..

did you try to call nvc ?? talk to live person because k-1 dont show up on automated system. nvc dont have them for long and they are sent to embassy in manila and then you have to call them to arrange interview

What did you filed for K1 or AOS?

Anyway call NVC/DOS 202-663-1225 then 1-0.

04-16-2012-------------------- NOA received (Priority date:04/11/12)

05-25-2012-------------------- Early Biometric !!!!(05-31-12--- Biometric Appnt.)

05-30-2012---------------------Placed in Lined for Interview Scheduling!!!

06-29-2012---------------------N-400 Notification,Scheduled for Interview!

07-05-2012---------------------Interview Letter received!

07-30-2012---------------------Interview! APPROVED!!!!

08-08-2012---------------------Oath Letter recieved!

08-15-2012---------------------Oath Ceremony!!!!

Thats true each case is different. took NVC awhile to send our approved petiton to USConsulate-HK. Just hang on there.
