For the original K1 petition you only need to prove you met in the last 2 years. Also both of you sign a letter of intent.

We went K3 but at the GZ consulate you never know.

Might get a person with a bad hair day. May not apply

to K1 but 6 trips to GZ made us overkill every thing

we did. From paperwork to a suitcase full of memories

of every kind. Overkill is your friend.

As was said.... overkill is your friend. It's too bad you don't have photos. You want to have lots of photos of you and her and the 2 of you with her family. Also prepare "evolution of the relationship" letter describing the Whens, Wheres, Whos and Hows you 2 met, got to know each other and decided on marriage, etc...
