any february 2008 for vermont

Hallo

Im new to this forum..i was looking thru this forum for the last couple of weeks and decided to join.

I filled I-130 for my wife in india on january to vermont...got the 1st notice saying "they received on jan 31 08, and the notice date is feb 15 2008" and its been 9 months as of now..i haven't received any approval letter.

couple of friends filled after me got their approvals and interview date (vermont)

i filled I-129f on july and they received on july 8 2008 and notice date is july 30 2008...i haven't received any other papers from vermont.

im so nervous abt this...please somebody give me some answers...

Well, peeps that filed at Vermont around that time were getting approved in 2-3 months, so there's clearly something amiss. Obviously the first thing you need to do is get on the horn to USCIS and at least ask the question. Also, there's a poster on here that goes by the name estadia that's in exactly the same boat as you (fiance from India, only been waiting longer) who I'm sure would be only too happy to offer you advice and support.

I called so many times...the only answer i'm getting is...its in the normal processing time and they're pulling sept2007 paper works...

its weired when my other friends got their visa approved already...and they filed after me in the same service center..

i dont how long i have to wait more...
