Question -- how does adding to the deficit by cutting taxes help balance the budget?

The conservative argument is that it will increase growth, and eventually increase tax income for the government. Though in practice, it doesn't really work.

Question -- how does adding to the deficit by cutting taxes help balance the budget?

The conservative argument is that it will increase growth, and eventually increase tax income for the government. Though in practice, it doesn't really work.

Would work if our jobs were brought back here. If I paid you a buck for anything with FICA and income taxes, you have to give about 30 cents of that to Uncle Same and get to keep 70 cents, you come back to me with 70 cents for whatever I do, I give 21 cents of that to the government and have 49 cents left, I hire you where you have to give 15 cents to US and have 34 cents left and so forth. The government ends up with that buck after it changes hand just a few times. They can lower the rates a tad that increases the circulation of that buck, takes a few more exchanges, but they still get it all back while we enjoy a higher standard of living.

But once that buck leaves the USA, the government cannot touch it. The company that purchased my company and moved it to China did not lower their prices and left 5,000 people here without jobs. While a few of us found equal jobs, many had to take lesser paying jobs or just gave up looking. This is costing Uncle Sam a lot of loss tax revenue. And once that buck leaves the USA, the IRS cannot touch it. But is being used to either buy this country or to build up the Chinese military that we may be really paying for. For the corporation that made this move, more profits, but how long will these profits last? When the American market can longer afford to buy this stuff, but the parasites on Wall Street that were just bailed out are really enjoying this, for now. We already know we are paying for our exported buck in war and terrorism waged against us, we know that, our politicians do not!!

Is either Obama or McCain pointing this out? Haven't heard very much if they are. Are they really independent candidates or chosen by the powers to be to hand out their form of BS? With the buck leaving this country, also have inflation, do any of you realized that the price of a new vehicle has tripled in the last twenty years? And most of it is now made in foreign countries? And our big two are in trouble?

Feel our greatest traitors are our leaders, giving our country away. Another Chinese restaurant opened in town, that makes five of them with a population of 19,000 in the last eight years. People there have problems with English, but won't last long, soon all of us will have to learn to speak Chinese.
