It's been two weeks since your interview. Did you receive an oath letter yet?

No. Not yet. I'm getting nervous. I know all the people who passed the test at that same time were told to wait for an oath letter, but still I won't relax until I get my certificate in hand. :unsure:

Hey, my interview is getting closer and I'm getting more and more nervous. :unsure:

I'm keeping my fingers crossed you'll receive your oath letter soon. :thumbs: So nobody, who had the interview the same day as you, took the oath that day? Maybe it is going to be a special ceremony hosted by the President after all. :blush:

Hey, my interview is getting closer and I'm getting more and more nervous.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed you'll receive your oath letter soon. So nobody, who had the interview the same day as you, took the oath that day? Maybe it is going to be a special ceremony hosted by the President after all.

Can anybody please update my info. I had my interview yesterday and oath the same day. It was pretty easy for me. The IO who interviewd me was very nice. Asked 6 questions and ask me to read " How many Senators do we have?" and asked me to write " Everyone wants to vote" And that was it. Asked me yes and no questions and asked if I want to do the oath at 3pm ,I said yes. So, to all the October filers, congratulations to us who had had our interview and to everyone who's interview is coming goodluck! VJ is a very big help to everyone of us!

We are still waiting for the oath letter. Our IO told us we would receive a phone call or a letter sometime this week to confirm that the oath would take place at 1:20pm tomorrow, but we haven't received any letter and no phone call. I'm guessing we should go down there tomorrow morning just in case. If indeed it is my wife's oath ceremony we don't want to miss it!

Has anyone had this experience where the IO verbally tells you your oath date but no letter arrives? Has anyone showed up at the District Office without an oath letter and gotten in?

We tried calling the District Office and there is no way to get a human being on the phone without knowing his/her extension. The national hotline has not been updated since October 2008, so no help there. Our congressman's office is looking into it.....thoughts?

My wife was told her oath time and day, and we never received a letter. We just showed up and her name was already on the list.
