My front tooth is sore today :(

I've checked it carefully in the mirror three times and I can't see any sign of visible damage to it at all! There are no obvious cavities or fillings that could be broken or cracked... it doesn't look cracked or chipped or dented when I shine a torch on it... The other night I accidentally bit on my fork when I was eating dinner, and that made it hurt for a little while, but then it was fine - but today it suddenly started aching like, well, a sore tooth! Do teeth nerves ever hurt for no reason? I really really really REALLY don't want to have to go to the dentist! They freak me out bigtime...

Hey There,

Sometimes it happens to me, and I have never had a cavity. Sometimes there is simply a sensitivity in the tooth, and it just goes away on it's own in a few days.

Use some Clove oil on it, as it will numb it and soothe the soreness (it works like a charm). If no improvement in a few days, you know what you have to do.

I really hope it goes away overnight. I've got pretty sensitive teeth and sometimes they hurt for no reason for a bit but this has been bugging me since breakfast time :(

Try taking some Iboprohen -- it may help.

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

12-24-2005 Received interview letter; interview scheduled 03-01-2006

01-28-2006 Received replacement SSN card in married name (5 wks since application)

03-01-2006 AOS interview -- approved; received stamp in the passport

When I went to bed I had two calcium chews and when I was eating them it suddenly stopped hurting. It seems to be fine now! It must have just been jarred or something... I think I'll take it as a signal that I need more calcium in my diet...

How's the tooth today? Hope it's better. I know I have had those pains and it has ended up in a root canal the only thing to stop the pain.

Ahhh...be careful with the calcium, ladies !

Many mediteranian and middle eastern women develop kidney stones as a result of too much calcium. We seem to be low in metabolizing it, and it ends up causing a very NASTY stone.

I have them from time to time, and my last one was the size of a 1/4 carat diamond !

ouch. but i even read once it helps with the PMS, my mom has kidney stones but i don't think its hereditary, i think it has to do with your diet, too much salt, etc

I thought only one of those calcium chews a day was sufficient anyway.

A couple years ago, when I was at work...during recess one of the kids banged his adult front tooth..it was wiggly woggly..pretty gross...his dentist said it would either turn colour and die or it was more likely to just heal and that's what it did.

Never in 39 years did i have a cavity or tooth problems......then I woke up one morning with a sore tooth....about a month into waiting for the NOA2 and being very stressed!

And with 1 tug my tooth came out.........

NOTE!!! Im still waiting for the NOA2..I hope i have teeth left till its all over.
