I don't see any letters or anything so I guess I'll make my own. I certainly am not lagging behind in the waiting list (2 months) but I am familiar with harassing media (unfortunately they're full now) and getting government attention (BUT that's only when there's no other news).

Being an election year, we need to send these separately and call DAILY until we receive an answer.

I guess I'll print the spread sheet and fire out one letter ever week until I hear different. For those of you who have been waiting a long time, I'm surprised a letter hasn't gone out already.

I'm not about to be sitting here with 9 months awaiting NOA2. I'd be happy to go to DC. I've picketed before, organized, got a permit and got news attention but we'd need more than a handful of people... Media is easy to manipulate IF there's nothing else pushing up their ratings.

Best thing is letting them know taking no action will definitely cause 9 months of pent up energy lobbying for whoever will unseat them and the opposite if they provide some help.

Kindest regards,

Rob & Suthittra

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but the processing times are vastly different between K-1s and K-3s. Just FYI.

I was editing and hit send but the edit button got killed when I tried to submit again...(no problem) Here's what I meant to say:

I don't see any letters or anything (????) so I guess I'll make my own. I certainly am not lagging behind in the waiting list (2 months) but I am familiar with harassing government and media (unfortunately they're full now) and getting government attention (BUT that's only when there's no other news).

Being an election year, we need to send these separately and call DAILY until we receive an answer....OR public information act hire an attorney (unless one is here) to DEMAND a legitimate answer (not a canned letter-I'd also let them know you're on to their "we hired new people" letter). I wouldn't bother a senator, I'd bother who ever is the head of VSC and make it clear you're going to make some noise (job security at stake). People get their asses moving if someone may be without a job.

I guess I'll print the spread sheet and fire out one letter now and research who is in charge of VSC...senators aren't doing much but mentioning you've contacted each one personally can give weight to the letter addressed to the chief of VSC. For those of you who have been waiting a long time, I'm (VERY) surprised nothing has been done (this post has been here for a bit). Maybe it's just me who gets pissed off at government inaction, etc.

I'm not about to be sitting here with 9 months awaiting NOA2. I'd be happy to go to DC. I've picketed before, organized, gotten permits, alerted media, etc. I organized one in Utah and got 2 news stations covering and got 2 news stations at my house when a builder screwed me over. You have to make a lot of noise if you're not happy and make sure the complaints are in such a manner jobs will be at stake.

In the letter, mention you've contacted xxx congress/senate personally, send a letter to whoever the chief of VSC is and name drop adding you're planning on media coverage at XXX date. I think a protest at VSC would be more effective...whoever is inside with authority will feel pressure...we need to find out who appointed them, etc. Washington DC won't do anything but if we make enough noise, try to get the head of VSC replaced.

Best thing is letting them know taking no action will unleash 9 months of pent up anger and we want someone's job (especially for sending a canned letter and ignoring the public). Let them know we'll show up to rat out his name and bring media to ask why he isn't doing his job compared to hsi counterparts in TX and CA, etc. Make him sweat and worry about his job.

Kindest regards,

Rob & Suthittra

Regarding your response--

On the spread sheet, I saw different categories K-1 and K-3. It's confusing when I see K1 and K3 applications on the same person submitted (possibly that's the delay)?

OK, I'll drop it then... I was under the impression visas were being delayed and letters were being sent based on the spreadsheet information. My only suggestion would be to go for the chief of VSC name dropping names above that person, etc...

Barbara Q. Velarde- that was easy....send a letter to her! She's in charge of all the centers...next is to let her know her underling is slacking off and send Barbara the spreadsheet also letting her know of threads on this website for more proof...

They also have a QA center:

The Quality Assurance and Training Branch coordinates and oversees

quality assurance efforts. This branch also develops and maintains national

Standard Operating Procedures and training materials

Barbara needs to know one of her centers is not performing on par with others and she has a serious problem with VSC

OK, I got an address and phone number for Barbara. I'm calling her office in the morning to see if she's the same person (She's listed as an attorney in CA) that's chief of UCIS service center operations, then we can send letters to her office letting her know one of her missions is not being fulfilled (a politically correct, kind but action/information requesting letter also mentioning the canned responses, etc). Those who were perceptively wronged would get more traction showing this website tracking their averages then you're suddenly seeing outliers in time telling you their "process efficiently" statement is in question and her staff are not responding except for prewritten responses that can't possibly be accurate since they've been copied and sent to others last year, etc...

Here's her law office number--only one so it has to be her:

OK - So we have a listing of the members of the oversight committee along with a Washington address. I dont see a form letter posted. (hope someone will get that task completed - it should indicate out frustration that the web site tells us processing time is 6 months and after 8 they are still telling us that we cant file a service request). I looked at the spreadsheet and sorry to say i thought it was a bit of a joke - we have to include hundreds of entries to support our conclusions. I have one that shows K1 for Philippines for 2008 and it has 5 member past the 6 month mark - i could expand it for all of VSC.

So lets get some draft letters posted! Then we will instruct everyone where to send them!

Do we have Barbara Q. Velarde's USCIS address and email info?
