We found a Jollibee and a Goldilocks up in Cerritos that we both love. I really like taking the Jollibee chicken home and heating it up later. The Goldilocks Restaurant has all sorts of dishes that Claudeth's loves so she is always looking forward to our weekend outing to Cerritos.

They also have a big grocery store close to Jollibee with all sorts of Filipino items stocked there. They are in the process of opening up a Chow King on one side of the store and a Red Ribbon on the other.

You need to beware of Fast Food places like Mc Donald / Jollibee etc.

The food is poor quaility, and processed and full of High Fructose Corn Syrup.

It's the reason(In my opinion) so many people in USA are fat.

When I was in PI most of the people I saw was skinny, But I did notice when I looked at the people who were at ChowKings / Jollibees, there seem to be alot more fat people eating there.

Yeah fastfood is bad, the reason why the people in the philippines some of them does not gain weight because of the humidity that makes people sweat a lot, the lifestyle people walks all the time, not many has vehicles, most of them ride jeepneys, trysikel, and bus then walk to the point of destination.. Unlike in the US that everytime you have to go somewhere even just several blocks away, they have to drive the car and weather plays a big important role as well.. People does not sweat that much like the people in our country unless they went to gym or did the exercise.

I am saying this prior to my experience when I brought my husband in the Philippines and Singapore for almost a month, he lost 16 pounds, because he was sweating at all times and we did walk a lot.

Lifestyle has a lot to do with weight..

Couldn't agree more.. and also mentioned by Honeyskin, portion control is a big factor.. I know I lose weight every time I come for a visit home, usually takes me about a week n a half for my body to adjust to the weather change.. plus, going 2 the province and eating there, it's more vegetables than anything, so yeah, different eating habit all together..

but to answer the OP question.. I love eating @ Chicken Inasal.. or any of the Inasal restaurants.. :).. but for fast food, Chow King is okay, not really a fast food person.. oh, I also like Pho..

Ingats lagi!

As my fiancee has stated (post # 2 above), we frequented Shakey's last June because of its pasta carbonara supreme. However, there was also a turo turo place at the food court inside Mall of Asia that found my liking because of its regional cuisine. Hence, while Tess ordered noodles and adobo for herself from another turo turo place, I was contented with my pinakbet and sinanglao and this further displayed the pride that I had because of my Ilocano heritage. Ay, naguimas ti pinakbet ken sinanglao apo!!! :D :D :D

My Filipino friends and your loved ones,

I like Jollibee because of their flavorful Halo Halo and Chicken Joy. How about you?

I love the fresh lumpia at Goldilocks. Me and my husband love the Round table pizza. The last honest pizza!

Hokey Smoke!

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

When I was still in the PI, I love to go to Burger King because they grilled thier patties. I usually ordered Whooper Jr. When it comes to Jollibee, I ordered spaghetti and their chicken joy. I don't eat much at McDonalds but if some of my friends decided to eat there, I ordered McFlurry and their BigMac. Wow! I'm a fun of eating big burgers. hahahaha!

Here, if you ordered $6 burger meal from Carl's Jr, you need someone to split with because it is big.
