Did everyone take the long weekend off?

yes we went away for the long weekend!!! it was glorious!! we have a house out at the shore (LBI). my mom & stepdad go every single weekend, year-round ... but we mostly go only during the summer. my mom's sister also came down from new york as well.

we went to AC (atlantic city) ... my parents took us to Brighton Steakhouse ... OMG!!! talk about meat melting in your mouth!!! everyone else had some seafood harvest thingy ... but i'm a filet mignon girl any day of the week! we also tried the new Effen Vodka!!

we sat outside and soaked up some rays on sunday ... got some really nice color! how come it always seems that you tan better at the shore!!!??!

then started the trek home monday afternoon ... we happily missed every bit of the memorial day traffic on the parkway & turnpike ... how we got that lucky i will never know!! there was a 20 mile backup on the turnpike (i still don't know what caused that).

even though the weekend was beautiful ... it's always nice to be home!!

ah sister monique, you know it...got to keep her happy and busy ....i am glad you had a good time..vodka, good vodka, always helpes improves the experience and laundry later
