There's not many postings this weekend compared to the usual volume... here or in the other places I usually frequent. Did everyone else except us have Memorial Day Weekend Plans that pulled them away from the internet for three days?

STAGE 2B - Applying for AOS to GC Approval - 9 months, 4 days (279 days)

STAGE 3 - Lifting Conditions. Filing (19 Dec 2007) to Approval (December 11 2008)

STAGE 4 - CITIZENSHIP (filing under 5-year rule - residency start date on green card Jan 11th, 2006)

Hi,

Not at all. I worked my regular job, came home and re-vamped my garden, went out with friends, rode bike with my son, came here and posted a few times, and did more gardening !

It does seem a bit light here today, but I notice most weekends are that way here.

Personally I worked 1/2 day on Sat and all day + a bit over today. AND my sister took me to the mall from h*ll. This is worse than ordinary malls because it is quite EVIL not just shudder-down-your-spine bad.. Or so my bro-in-law, nephew, and I think. And somebody there needed to change their baby's diaper. So it was EVIL and smelly.

I think my friends had a life this weekend though. :(

We did very little... on Saturday we did the grocery shopping and I went swimming and got heat exhaustion so I was flat on my back Saturday night instead of snuggling my husband as we would have liked... Sunday we slept in to recouperate and went to see the Xmen movie... and today we did absolutely nothing!

There's something a bit scary about being in the top ten posters for the day with a total of only sixteen posts to your name!

We cleared out to DC over the weekend—saw a lot of the sights (including the panda family at the National Zoo, THREE TIMES) and got together with Torontonian and her husband (we knew them pre-VisaJourney, which is really funny!). We had a really, really great time, even though it was HOT.

Abby (U.S.) and Ewen (Scotland): We laughed. We cried. Our witness didn't speak English. Happily married (finally), 27 December 2006.

Latest news: Green card received 16 April 2007. USCIS-free until 3 January 2009! Eligible to naturalize 3 April 2010.

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

I worked Monday from 6:30 to 12:30 at time and a half. Plus got the holiday pay, so not so bad.

We had a great weekend. We spent it at our friends house Sat, Sun at her pool.

It was an awesome time. :D

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

We went away for the weekend to the Jerry Johnsons hot springs...it was kinda cool sitting in the hot spring, in the middle of a forest while it rained :thumbs:
