Well, it finally happened. I just checked the USCIS website, and today I was approved! It's 9 months to the day since VSC originally received my petition.

Anyway, I hope this gives some hope to all VSC-to-CSC transferees who are still waiting. It looks like CSC may be starting to crank out the approvals again.

11/30/07: Married in Mexico

I-130 Timeline
01/12/08: I-130 sent to VSC
02/11/08: NOA1
10/14/08: NOA2
11/18/08: Case complete at NVC
02/04/09: Interview--CR1 visa granted!
02/05/09: POE in El Paso, TX

Removal of Conditions Timeline
01/08/11: I-751 package sent to VSC
01/11/11: NOA1
02/08/11: Biometrics appointment
08/16/11: Approved!
08/20/11: 10-year green card received

Citizenship Timeline

03/03/14: N-400 sent to Dallas, TX

03/07/14: NOA1

04/03/14: Biometrics appointment

05/21/14: Interview--passed!

07/30/14: Oath ceremony

sept. 26, 2008----got case # from a live operator

oct. 6, 2008 ------received AOS bill/paid online

oct. 7, 2008 ------shows PAID

oct. 14,2008 -----IV fee generated/ paid online

oct. 15,2008 -----shows PAID

oct. 16,2008 -----mailed DS230 overnight

oct. 23,2008 ---- RFE

nov. 3,2008 ----- case complete

nov. 26,2008 --- medical exam

aug. 14,2009 --- remedical finally, passed

aug. 24, 2009 -- interview , passed

aug. 29, 2009 -- visa in hand

sept. 24, 2009 -- POE LAX

Congrats!!! I'm happy for you, after the long wait u finally goit it. I wish they transfer us to CSC at least we can see the light of the tunnel. Hopefully..

Excellent news math man!!!! Congratulations. I kept doing searches on your member all this time to see if there were any developments. I'm very happy for you.

Next step is to wait for the file to be transferred to NVC. Give it about a week to 10 days and then start calling daily and talking to a live person. Ignore the AVR as it is not good. Still says they have no record of my petition. Also ignore when the rep tells you things take 90 days.

Then send email to take care of the DS3032; there is plenty of help with that in the forum.

After that, wait for the fee invoice since they are not giving the IIN over the phone any more; pay online; wait two days; print bar code sheets and mail the 864 and ds230 packages; and that's it!

If you aget ahead of the curve and have all your documents ready; you can get through the NVC process in about a month.

My biggest advise to you is: START WORKING ON THOSE DAMN POLICE REPORTS NOW!!! Figure out what is needed for your particular case by looking at the Department of State website, immigrant visa section and the embassy website for your country and get working on them now!! Birth certificates and wedding certificates seem to be easier and faster to obtain.
