RFE again!!!

we received another RFE again! I'm so sick and tired of this! first they asked my fiance to send a passport photos and now i don't know what else they need, because we haven't receive the letter from immigration yet, guys do you think this can be be the reason I'm so worried coz my fiance told me that maybe it's because of our age gap, that's why it's so hard for them to make a decision about this petition.....

They may ask for more evidence for proof of meeting in the last two years or ongoing relationship. But do bear in mind, age can be a factor but very rarely is if you look at other VJ'ers age difference. It's essentially discrimination. Just do what they ask and deal. I mean hey it sucks. But what is an extra two-three weeks if you're going to get a lifetime together right?

There is almost a ten year age difference between my fiance and myself. We never received an RFE. I know things seem rough, but these are trying times. If the love is there you will do whatever it takes. My fiance was deported over a year ago and I have been raising our 18 month old daughter alone, working, paying the bills, going in debt paying for the immigration process, not to mention the phone bill. We all know how hard it is but stay strong and know GOD is listening. He knows your heart, but you have to remember everything happens for a reason and it is in his timing not ours.

Hi, just send them whatever they`re asking for additional RFE. It`s good that you have RFE, it means they are really looking and reviewing your case, if you still have more to send for evidences send it as soon as possible. If you love each other no questions asked but to follow whatever it takes.Anyway, true love waits and immigration thing is just a process, Your gift of self to one another is lifetime compare to preparing that RFE thing. My fiance and I , were on the 3 months waiting for our NOA2 we haven`t received any RFE, I hope they won`t asks from us since we sent all the evidences asking from the checklists.You`ve gone that far in your visa journey Vermont is fast than CSC, maybe after sending back your RFE , they may approved your papers after that.God has his all reason ! Have faith and have more patient! God bless in your journey!

if your love is real no turning back even it take one yr!!!!! is nothing they are requesting more prop on going relationship

just provide what they ask don't question about god???? because its your fault your papers incompletes

My wife is also from the Philippines. We have a 23 year age gap. We had no problems and no RFE's during our K1 process. I would assume your paperwork is not in order if you have an RFE, not an age gap issue. With filing you must give them exactly what they want, every form filled out correctly, and the proper proofs. Wait until you get the RFE and see what it is they are requesting you send them. When you get it, send them exactly what they request.

I understand your frustration, BUT if your fiancé read that YOU were ready to give up if this fails, would DEVASTATE them.

I think you would be hurt to. Although I know you did not mean it, it makes us upset as well who are going through this frustration WITH you and to see someone post *help me to know when i should need to give up on this???* it hurts us as well and makes us NOT want to take the ones we love for granted.

True love comes only once in a lifetime. You can go through life loving many..but REAL true love is rare. I know I would FIGHT for Kai but never would I give up.

Hang in there and stop saying things like that. The whole visa thing is FRUSTRATING for ALL of us. Hang in there...it will turn out wonderful. You all forgot something is all so BREATHE..

I have 21 year difference and others have ones that are bigger then MINE and they got a visa JUST fine.

It sounds to me you both might have forgotten something. Age is not a factor for the visa. I remember calling immigration on this and they do not care as long as it is a bonafide relationship and you have proof

look back at the guides and see IF you followed the directions EXACTLY, only you can control this part if you didnt they will keep asking until it is correct there is no age restrictions at this stage, they may look more at that at a later time but if your the man seems its not a prob

i would be even glad of a touch at least they doing something better than nothing, a RFE yeh like yourself be over the noon as at least you know that be on someones desk waiting for your replys

better than still in the bottom of a box where i know mine is and i have a feeling mine is going to be there for a few more weeks as i am never that lucky to get anything quick, anyway, do not give up hope hang in there
