Dear Madam,

Thank you for your follow-up e-mail. This office must conduct further administrative processing in Casablanca before sending your husband’s case to USCIS. We apologize for the delays associated with this case. Unfortunately we have experienced an unexpectedly high volume of cases and we have not processed cases as quickly as we initially anticipated.

Regards,

Immigration Visa Section

Casablanca, Morocco

It is odd. If their intentions are indeed to send it back then why do AP? This has me baffled. I would like to think that they are rethinking their decision, but I wouldn't want to give anyone false hope. Keep working on your reps, put a little pressure on them. I hope you can join the list of few that actually do avoid a return.

At one point they said...some AP takes place in US but when I called Washington DOS, they said his papers are still in Casa...I dont think they really know anything

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praying for you!!!

I talked to a man at the consulate this morning and he told me to fax everything I think might help and he will review it. He made it sound as if he knew little about our case because he had to go and get it and said he needed to examine it.

I think this could be good, possibly. I can tell you this, when our 1st file was returned I spoke to a man at the consulate...he talked to me for nearly 20 minutes. He said nothing like this at all, he gave me no indication that there was even a remote chance of stopping the return, they really were determined to send our file back which they did. So, it is possible that this could be a good sign.

Did you happen to get a full or first name from this person? Did he sound American?

If I were you I would make this very professional and to the point if you can. Include the cover sheet to have the following information...obviously fill in the personal info including case number:

TO:

Consulat General Des Etats Unis, Visa Unit

8 Blvd. Moulay Youssef

Casablanca, Morocco

ATTENTION:

The man's name of whom you spoke to

REGARDING:

Case Number: CSBXXXXXXXXXX

Beneficiary: Last Name, First Name

Petitioner: Last Name, First Name

I would also include a letter directly from you to go with this fax if possible with as much information as you can provide that would be helpful. It would also help to have very specific items you may not have had in your original petition like letters attesting to your relationship, and how they feel about your file possibly being returned from your immediate family members, his immediate family members, letter directly from your husband...each letter should provide the name of the person writing it, their date of birth, full address & phone number, and relationship to you and your husband, and how they came to know of your relationship, how they feel about it, etc. I would make sure your case number is at the top-right of every single sheet you send including cover sheet, just like how you handled the NVC paperwork.

I really hope this is what it sounds like it may be, you really never know with Casa, they are their own breed. Good luck to you, hang in there girl.
