I am trying so hard to not keep going to the USCIS website but it's really hard. I have a horrible cold and stayed home from work today, and that gave me WAY too much time to think about this.

I wish we had a huge day--tons of approvals flooding in. I miss those days. Sigh.

It sure was a good October last year, just the three weeks that are showing on Igor's List had 127 approvals, but thats the past, Hopefully tomorrow we will have more approvals!!! Feel better soon!!

I havent really looked in detail to other months other then whats listed on Igor's list. It just really bothers me that CSC hasn't picked up, even after the whole fiscal year theory. Im aware that any of June filers can be approved at any moment, I just hope its sooner then later. Does any one have a theory or real info on whats going on at The CSC?

Hi everybody (including Daisy and I) that is waiting for any news,

My brother-in-law works for homeland security. He said that USCIS has dedicated the majority of its resources toward the citizenship applications due to the up coming election. Apparently a lot of groups had petitioned and complained that the backlog was too long and that many recent immigrants will be cheated out of the opportunity to vote November 4th. In two weeks the resources will be reshuffled and the immigration processing will kick into high gear. Basically its going to continue to be slow until the end of October. I would complain, but I would want Daisy to be able to share in the election process as well.

While I definitely agree that this is hugely important, haven't registration deadlines passed in most states? (That's a legit question, not a whine.) I thought Ohio's was fairly typical--30 days before the election.
