Wild Blue Satellite.

$70 a month for 50kps download at best. And has a monthly bandwidth limit of 12gb download and 3gb upload.

Unfortunately our only other option is dial up which got us connected at a blazing 14.4kps!

Indeed. The latency on those connections on satellite is absurd. It's just one of many reasons why I'm meticulous about where I live, like, away from minor suburban areas and rural areas. There's just little profitability and too high of costs to serve people out there, for one.

i'm on hughesnet, wild blue is marginally better price wise, but the big difference i noticed when i called wild blue to compare was they really can speak english at wild blue! <_<
