Hi folks,

I started my process on a K1 visa. The time has now come for my AOS interview scheduled for early November. For my K1 visa i had to undertake a medical examination in London by a practice that was endorsed by the US embassy. My question is the following :

Do I need a new medical done since it has been over a year since my last one or do I not need one? I have vaccination documents to hand.

Any help is appreciated.

If it has been over 1 year, you must get a new medical.
To qualify this, if over a year before AOS filing.

You need to get the vaccination record transferred to an I-693 by a US Civil surgeon, and if you did not do this and include it with the AOS application, you will need to bring the completed I-693 to the AOS interview.

When did you file the I-485??? :time:http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=20833

If you APPLY within 1 year of your medical, you DON'T need to repeat it. It doesn't matter when the interview is.

See I-693 instructions (page 4): http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-693instr.pdf

You are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination.
