stupid word pad.

using wordpad on pc because dont have office and i'm trying to paste our pictures onto the page to take for evidence to interview.

everytime i insert object and use browse option it inserts the ruddy file title . for example insead of image of me. it puts hannahbehindbar.jpg. stupid program. :bonk:

whats it problem? what am i doing wrong?

Open picture using Paint, then edit --> select all and then edit --> copy.

Then in word pad edit --> Paste.

it isn't perfect but i'm sure it can cope with pictures in a document

Open office is a free open source office program. Does pretty much anything Microsoft Office will do, and is compatible with the document formats of office.

OpenOffice is free software that has similar software functionality as Microsoft's Office. I believe it's also designed to create files that are either fully-compatible or easily converted into office files. (ie, someone who has Microsoft Office can open documents on OpenOffice and vice versa.)

There's also google docs! You can create word processing docs, spreadsheets (excel) and presentations (power point) for free!

well i have just downloaded it on to my computer, so will see how i get along with it.

now i'm having trouble remembering which key stroke to press when resizing images so that they stay in the same proportions as they originally were.

i keep making the pics thinner in length or width.
