Hi all ...I just came to know that my wife's interview has been scheduled on november 18 , 2008 at chennai consulate .i just want to know whats my next step ?

1.How soon medical can be done before interview ?

2.What documents we need to prepare for interview?if so does she need to submit any at VFS prior to interview ?

3.Do we need to fill out any more forms at embassy ? (tired of filling out more forms lol )

4. Can i attend interview with my wife being USC??

Any help at final stage of successful interview preparation is really appreciated ..we wish you all good luck wherever you are in immigration process ...Always have faith and hope...

08/19/08 DS-3032 e mail sent and got auto response

08/20/08 Received IIN#(one nice rep gave me number)

08/22/08 paid I-864 bill online

08/23/08 I-864 bill status "PAID" online(saturday) but AVR message says " case number assigned ....blah

08/23/08 Printed out I-864 package online and Barcode sheet

08/25/08 I-864 package sent overnight

08/25/08 DS3032 Hardcopy sent by express mail (Hopefully they accept it ..But AVR says AOS fee received/paid on 08/23/08)

08/26/08 I-864 package received per USPS

08/28/08 I-864 package entered into NVC system

08/27/08 NVC accepted DS-3032 (But AVR does not say that)

08/28/08 IV bill generated ( still AVR does NOT say that) but online INVOICE says "NOT PAID"

08/28/08 IV bill paid online "IN PROCESS" status

08/29/08 IV bill "PAID" status (AVR says , they received DS3032)

08/29/08 DS-230 generated

09/02/08 DS-230 and required documents mailed

09/03/08 DS-230 form arrives at NVC per usps

09/04/08 DS-230 information entered into NVC system

09/15/08 CASE COMPLETE(32 days no RFE)

10/15/08 sent to consulate

11/10/08 Medical PASSED

11/18/08 Interview....VISA GRANTED ...

US..

11/29/08 ..POE at Houston

12/15/08 ..Welcome letter

12/16/08 ..SSN received

12/29/08 Green card received

Congratulations Sqr , I am very glad for u , and I am very happy at the moment cause i just called and also got my interview date and its for Nov 6th , I am so excited :D

1. Best one week before the interview not less than 3 days before the interview.

2.what kind of visa you applied? kindly submit all your documents before 15 days of the interview not less than 10 days before the interview. kindly FOLLOW THE INTERVIEW LETTER GUIDLINESS.

3.At the first interview the indian officer view your application and see any errors, kindly follow what officer guides at embassy?

4, yes, you can but explain that i am going to assist her.

be honest and accurate what you wrote in your application, be truthfull in answering the question. kindly answer the question what consular ask.

1. They will send beneficiary a letter which you'll need to schedule medical. Can be done anytime. It usually takes 5-7 days for report to come..so early november should be fine.

2. Copies/Originals of every single thing submitted and also a duplicate copy of Affidavit of Support package.

3. Will need to pay courier fee...all instructions will be in letter...

4. No Interview they dont allow anybody but the person itself...
