Hi I am also waiting my appointment packet from USEM. even if I already have a appointment date,. My lawyer said it takes 2 weeks but its more than 2 weeks now, I am glad I found this website so I dont have to wait the letter from USEM just to tell to us that we can make an appointment for interview,,. But I am still waiting for that packet, hope we get it soon. good luck.. BTW are done with your medical

Hi jimcat,

Our case was complete 9-23-08, NVC made the appointment on 10-03-08, and I (agent/petitioner) got my copy of the appointment letter 10-11-08.

I just mailed a packet of documents to my wife in the Philippines by Express Mail International and the postal clerk said it would take 6 days. So 2 weeks may be reasonable for a normal letter mailed by NVC I'm guessing.

03-05-2007 Met Jan online

07-05-2007 Flew to the Philippines to meet Jan

10-02-2007 2nd trip to the P.I.

10-04-2007 Obtained "Legal Capacity to Marry" document at the US Embassy in Manila

10-05-2007 Talked to Jan's father about my intentions

10-05-2007 Proposed to Jan

10-08-2007 Applied for marriage license

10-13-2007 Talked to Pastor at St Stephen's Lutheran Church in Baguio

12-22-2007 Our wedding day

04-01-2008 I-130 package sent

04-03-2008 4th trip to the P.I.

04-14-2008 NOA1 received

07-17-2008 NOA2 email received

oh i see! so my husband will be receiving his copy soon then... hmmm. he'll be sending me that too in case the one sent to me will get even more delayed...
