My Fiance is going to Manila today. If she has her medical tomarrow could it be considered too far in advance if her interview is Nov. 24th??

Timeline:

05-10-08 I129F Sent to CSC

05-14-08 I129F Received at CSC

05-15-08 NOA1 Sent out

05-19-08 NOA1 Hard copy arrived

09-22-08 NOA2 Via- E_Mail

09-26-08 NOA2 Hard Copy Received

09-29-08 Received MNL case number from NVC

10-27-08 Completed Medical Exam (Passed)

11-24-08 Interview Scheduled at USEM (Passed)

12-04-08 Visa Arrival

12-26-08 Leaving Philippines

12-26-08 Arrived Las Vegas, NV USA

I think it's a bit too far. :) Ideally it should be between a month before the interview. If she's coming out of town, it's best to confirm with the Embassy. :)

or else she well coming back again for her medical

it's ok if the medical was too far in advance.. I had my medical last apr. 12 and my interview was supposedly may15 so it's ok, it's better to do it in advance.. it is actually okay if you have the medical with your period, it's just that they will just ask you to return after the period which actually served as the 2nd day of the regular medical(means no period during the medical).

I had my medical exam 1 month prior to interview. I called up st lukes extension clinic and they said that ideally it should be 1 week before your interview but its still up to you whether you want it done now.. but I think 1 month ahead is good, beyond that, not a good idea.
