Hello guys! i just want to ask how long it will take to get appointment letter for the EAD and AOS? i got my NOA'S jan 28, im really anxious now to have my biometrics, how long it will take to have the appoinment letter?

It took Claudeth about a month to get her EAD biometrics letter and then a little while after that her AOS biometrics. We received a NOA in January that her petition had been transferred to CSC and now things are quiet again. Good luck

Try using the timeline feature "Immigration Timeline" on the blue bar above. Also, if you browse the forum you can often see that from people's signatures, like mine.

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

12-24-2005 Received interview letter; interview scheduled 03-01-2006

01-28-2006 Received replacement SSN card in married name (5 wks since application)

03-01-2006 AOS interview -- approved; received stamp in the passport

03-13-2006 Green card arrived in the mail

No real telling due to backlogs .... could be 30 days but some folks have had to wait upwards of 90 days!

12-01-07 NOA For 1-Year Extention RECEIVED from CSC

12-17-07 Biometrics Letter Received / Scheduled for 1/8/08

01-08-08 Biometrics Completed At ASC

03-26-08 10-Year GC APPROVED!!!! HOORAY!!!

04-03-08 10-Year GC ARRIVES! GC Journey Over For Another 10-Years~On To Citizenship

Yep.. I had to wait 90 days just to get the appointment letter!.. and the timeline doesn't always help either since most ppl in my DO got their bio letter in like a month but i waited 3 months... Good luck! it will come dont worry.. I drove myself crazy worrying but it still came.. :-)
