When someone states that an I-129F was touched? Or I-130 was touched? Does touched mean updated? Thank you!

Yes.

Yes.

So, the information was updated. As in personal information by the petitioner? Or information updated regarding the case? Sorry!

Any update. Touches really have no practical meaning. Many cases are approved without ever seeing evidence the file was updated.

From reading some posts on here, a "touch" could be something as simple as your case being taken out of one filing cabinet and put into another.

So as pushbrk says, a touch really has no practical meaning. Though I suppose it can assure you that it hasn't been lost! :)

Thank you both! I just see some people stating their I-130 was touched and some do not. Thanks again! =)

My impression is that a touch logs whenever one's case was accessed in any way. A "touch" could quite literally just be when someone touches your file.

I believe a Request for Evidence (RFE) is when USCIS requests additional documentation.
