Steven, if you had bothered to actually READ the article, instead of merely glancing at what was posted on here, you'd have seen the second paragraph of the news story, where FOX News clearly states that a parent planned the field trip to surprise the teacher.

I doubt that matters, however. Why let meaningless little things such as "facts" get in the way of an opportunity to bash FOX News yet again, right?

They did not represent the actual facts accurately. The idea to surprise their teacher was from one of the parents. The teacher had not invited the students. That said, I don't think it was an appropriate thing to do during school time. However, to suggest that the school had decided this was a way to indoctrinate the students is beyond ridiculous. The teacher's students probably had already known that she was a lesbian and was getting married to another woman. I distinctly remember my teachers sharing with us pictures and information about their families and some of them even had their spouses and children in the classroom from time to time.

Also, living in California and particularly in OC, I've been seeing a lot of 'Yes on 8' bumper stickers. There is popular support for Prop. 8 which will try to ban gay marriage through an amendment to the state constitution. I believe that the courts will over-rule it as unconstitutional, as they should, but you should see the ads on TV that claim if gay marriage remains legal, children will be 'taught' in schools that the gay lifestyle is acceptable. It's absurd beyond belief that people disguise their bigotry as religious convictions. It's a perversion of what Christianity is about.

I have read a number of stories where this exact thing is going on in Mass.

I googled this site which is trying to stop it, they even have in-class vids posted of grade school

kids being indoctrinated (isn't that what you call it when only one side is presented?).

http://massresistance.com/docs/info/kbase/...or_stories.html

So maybe those commercials in California are a little closer to the truth than you know.

By the way... why don't you tell us all "what Christianity should be all about", so we know.

That link to those articles you gave was pretty funny.

I guess it's a bit out of their league the homosexual lifestyle (whatever that is) is actually normal, because homosexuality is perfectly fvcking normal. Evidently some brains evolve a bit slower than others. I certainly feel no threat by a teacher reading a silly book about two loving gays being a couple. If you do, then the issue is yours.

Take it from someone who's around plenty of gays, they are no threat to anything other than people with a closed mind and wish to implement this close-minded sh!t on others. Take your kid to a private school where they'll get a likely second rate education and have less of a clue what to do when exposed to things in society that people will come around in public schools as well.

Hey that's pretty good you have all the talking points down perfect.

We agree you can teach your kids about gay sex, poly sex Beastie sex, or what ever you think

helps shape a healthy child, but it's not the teacher or schools role to decide what forms of sex

deviant or not, are good.

That these time wasting things are allowed to eat-up class room hours is crazy.

Leftist you to abhor social engineering by the govt.

1. I believe Christianity to be "love God, love yourself, love your neighbor." Do these three things and how can you break any of the commandments?

2. It wasn't classroom time being eaten up, it was a parent's idea, not the teacher's, and there was no indoctrination.

3. I wonder if this book is offensive too?

Gay penguins? They may replace "lesbian poodles" as the go-to phrase for outraged VJ conservatives, I'd wager!

Gay penguins with happy feet. Freaks.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

ROFL.

Video Games industries requires more CIS major (computer information science) than artists.

You need to go look at the list of credits on a video game, this statement is so wrong it's ridiculous.

Let's not also get into people involved in the advertising and marketting aspects of gaming (or basically ANY industry), typically those are positions that require creative/artistic skills of some kind, and typically those people represent 1/3 of most businesses. (I'm pulling numbers out of my ### and can't back up that 1/3 with hard numbers other than what has been fairly typical in my own experience).

True story too.

1. Your welcome to your version of any faith you desire but what you listed.... kinda left Christ and his purpose ... I would think that would be a little relevant to CHRISTianity.

2.Oh well excuse my failing to realize class trips are now guided by whatever wacky idea a random

parent might have....

Kids....Next week we are going to the slaughter house to see where sausage comes from.

3. as for the book, It would be offensive if it were read to my kid. These animals are presented as Gay when they are not. If my friend and I were to raise a child it does not make us "Homos".

For us to be **, we need to be having back-door relations.

While the animal world is full of oddities there are many consistance.

one of them is that male and female mate.

Here is your homework: Youtube is full of home vids of every topic, I am bettin you can find home vids of dogs, horses and cows mating. You can clearly see they are male and female.

Post a link to a few home movie type clip, of two male animals having ####### sex.

Even domesticated animals with most natural instincts bred out will not allow another male to mount him.

Billions of camcorders and billions of pets, where is the proof?

I realize that there are artists in game development since my co-op days in college. I worked in the engine implementation department where I write code, and test them. I talked to many artists. However, their role isn't as big as the actual programmers. And, there were so many artists that the job is very competitive because out of 3000 artists that applied only 10 gets the job. On the other hand, there was a lack of computer programmers skilled enough to figure a particular problem. We worked such long days trying to build an algorithm that reflect the light off a curved polygon. The hardware programming APIs helped alot, but there are some stuff that requires hands down approach.

They are still looking for programmers. They don't need any more artists.

Sheltered life methinks. I have often witnessed male animals trying to shag anything that moves, regardless of gender. That they can't always find the ####### of the other animal doesn't really change the intent.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I never suggested one male might not try.... but trying is not gay-sex.

Please post the vid of the Gay-sex if it is so often found in nature.

Or.... just keep sharing your *opinion* on the matter, thats real helpful.
