VW -- I do live in Colorado and have for decades. In the years I wasn't here, my strong ties to the State helped me keep its finger on its pulse during long Republican domination. I remember the 1972 campaign against the Olympics here -- the polls said the referendum to bad tax funding of the Olympics would win -- conservative boosters were saying no, no, no the polls are wrong --- but they were right. Polls have reliably predicted the winner in Presidential elections in Colorado since at least '64 -- the last time a Democrat took it.

VW -- Colorado is changing. Who is our governor? Who controls both houses of the legislature? And why is it that Schaffer is taking it on the chin so hard these days?
