Hi all,

Got a quick question about filling out the I-129F. I am a U.S, citizen filing for my fiancee in Taiwan.

On question 10, it asked me about the origin of my citizenship. I came into US with a green card and was naturalized in 1996. I checked the box "Naturalization" and provided the number and issued location of my certificate.

My question is, should I also answer the question:

" Have you obtained a certificate of citizenship in your name?"

Does this mean have I help someone to become a citizen? Or should I answer "yes" and put down duplicate information of my naturalization?

All help greatly appreciated!!

This question is primarily for those who derived citizenship from a parent and did not actually go through the natualization process

YMMV
