FWIW, yeah, I'd say its protected Free Speech. Not to make it any less stupid to say though. Or racist. Which begs the rhetorical question that if one person can dredge up images online of idiots wearing stupid shirts that may or may not be part of an attack (or counterattacking) against one politician, does that make it equally justifiable for one to slip in a racist remark in some kind of retort?

I think VW, that this picture goes back to my earlier post when I mentioned liberals in t-shirts with writing on them. The people in the picture think they are making a huge statement, when in fact the majority of us feel that they are somewhat classless and in need of a good wash. There is always someone somewhere that will lower the tone. As I said previously, you need to pity these people not hate them. They really don't know any better.

Absolutely. Too often have I witnessed a woman proudly dangling her monogram LV off her arm. LV have so many other nice bags that aren't brown and emblazoned with letters but then it doesn't tell others how much you spent. Its all a bit council with a faint whiff of dog blanket really.

I know it's meant to be in humor, but in regards to the sarcastic labels people give themselves, let's not forget there seem to be thoughts about people on the other side of the spectrum too. Like me, right wing zealot who stones people and cuts down all the trees. No more hugging them! I think that's a good label to use for me, fits very well. Sorry I am not a tree hugger or commie groupie for a random animal.

First, I didn't start the label attachment obsession. Some people appear to find it very difficult to distinguish between the various different people here who have similar views on some issues. These people seem to think it would be helpful to label everyone with views they don't like as 'librul dope smoking lesbians'. Rather than getting all snotty about it, I decided the most useful thing to do would be to take the label and make it as outrageous as possible in order to highlight how absolutely stupid the labels are.

Second, I have never applied a 'right wing' label to anyone in the same 'you are the generic voice of rightwing nutterism' that is applied to those who are attributed with 'librul' views.

Third, I don't see you personally as a stereotype in any way, shape or form. You are you, with your personal opinion so you don't need to apply any 'stone throwing, tree hating' labels to yourself, that simply doesn't make any sense.
