How many payments..?

Hi guys!

I filled out I-130 for wy wife "IR-1/CR-1" and paid $355.00. The case is with National visa center now after being approved by USCIS. We already paid $70.00 for processing. Now we received another letter saying that we have to pay $400.00 for processing the Visa. Is this normal? I thought the $70 was enough for NVC visa processing.

Help..anybody...

You will still have to pay more fee's at the embassy also. You may need to get your documents verified and also a medical exam paid for...maybe even finger printing.

06-18-08 NOA1

08-08-08 NOA2

10-22-08 Interview USEM

10-28-08 Visa Received

11-01-08 POE

That was fast!

Got to love the fact my wife was preggy and even with a RFE @ NVC she was still here in under 5 months!

Well once done at NVC toy will have the health check up and vacinnations still left

I married my love on 12/24/07

I filed for the I 130 on 1/23/08

Receipt number recevied 2/13/08

Paperwork sent to Guangzhou on 1/23/09

Interview 5/21/09 PASSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

POE 6/2/09

Home 6/3/09

Hey abbas ...............You keep paying USCIS/NVC/EMBASSY ...until your spouse gets gets here....of course you keep paying all these times and in future ............basically you end up doing more and more payments ...........lol :dance::dance: thats what i am doing now lol

08/27/08 NVC accepted DS-3032 (But AVR does not say that)

08/28/08 IV bill generated ( still AVR does NOT say that) but online INVOICE says "NOT PAID"

08/28/08 IV bill paid online "IN PROCESS" status

08/29/08 IV bill "PAID" status (AVR says , they received DS3032)

08/29/08 DS-230 generated

09/02/08 DS-230 and required documents mailed

09/03/08 DS-230 form arrives at NVC per usps

09/04/08 DS-230 information entered into NVC system

09/15/08 CASE COMPLETE(32 days no RFE)

10/15/08 sent to consulate

11/10/08 Medical PASSED

Sorry to distract from this topic, but is there a place on this site that lists fees etc for the different visas? I was looking around the guides and didnt see anything for that..

(Sorry if its off topic, I didnt see the need to start a new thread for this question)
