does any one here applied for SSN showing their EAD? can i get SSN with EAD without GC?

Yes SSA requires evidence of Work Authorization, EAD is evidence that you can work.

I applied for SSN before I got marriad as K1, but it does not allow me to work. After the marriage, I applied in my married name but they were looking for my EAD.

Some people I knew in another furom , they got thier SSN after marriage with asking for EAD. All I can say is it depends on the state where you are in. so it is better to go and try visit the Social Security Administration office and see that they can do.

No not dependent on state where you live, K-1 is "WorkAuth" for the 90 days or the I-94, married or not. Many SSA offices have employees who do not understand the K-1 visa. We applied for SSN shortly after marriage using the Valid I-94, Marriage cert for (Name), and Passport with K-1 visa. This has to happen within 75 days of entry, after that then EAD card or Green-card is needed to get SSN.
