omG the first encounter I had with Eng bacon was at Greg's. I got a bacon something or other...NOT KNOWING IT WOULD BE DIFFERENT. I took a bite, apparantly only hard enough to grab the whole of the bacon & when i pulled away, I pulled the bacon out and it hit my chin

I didn't know ####### was going on and it freaked me out so much as if i just bit into someone's liver or summat.

omG no, never again, lol

*Drools* with Hp for me on thick white bread

I dream of 'proper' bacon and will probably eat it everyday when I eventually return for a visit home

Wow - I thought I was the only anti-English bacon. Turns out I have some people on my team! Lisa -- your experience sounds almost as bad as when I witnessed my bacon being cooked in a microwave at the cafe. The microwave!

I must admit I much prefer 'american' bacon to the British.....I make my other half stop at the commisary on his way home to bring me a big packet.....yummy!! ...... then we eat it with loads of black pudding which he has learnt to love
