October 2008 Filers With The CSC

October filer here k1 type.. fiance in Philippines.

Has anyone heard anything new on document verification delays in Manila. I see many are now getting their visa in less than a week but I see others that wait. I have not done so much research yet but it looks as if the delays happen when there are children or a possible previous marriages involved.

Also any other tips from anyone who has undergone the Manila interview process will be appreciated.

I have read all the standard information that is available on VJ and believe we are prepared, however, recent information is always helpful.

if you change the filters to show 'approved petitions' and scroll down to october, i believe there are already three that have been approved (i think they were expedited) but it's still good news, right?!

I knew I wasn't crazy!! That's the time line graph I had seen that shows a few October filers approved. Thanks for the info

I am pretty sure atleast 1 of them was an expedite due to deployment.

Yeah, I guess those three Oct. cases were probably special! They haven't even gotten through half of the August petitions let alone September or October! I'm starting to get restless (which is probably why I'm a September filer posting in an October board). I'm sticking my nose into other forums...haha.

I don't know if its a fluke or what....but I got a email from the USCIS stating that we have been approved for the I-129F fiance petition. It says that they mailed our approval on Jan. 8th, 2009!!! I don't think this is a touch....but REALLY THE NOA2!!!!

I am bouncing off of every wall right now with JOY! AND my fiance stayed another week to be with me and should have left yesterday, so now we get to celebrate our approval together!!!

All I have to say is be patient and it looks like you all will be next very soon!!!!

It's no fluke, we also just got approved yesterday!!! I couldn't believe it when I saw it as the USCIS email was very unassuming and sat in my inbox until after lunch. We didn't expedite and we filed in October with CSC. I give mad props to the guides and support of this community. I hope CSC will start going through all your applications very soon. yes, it shows on the website that there was an approval. it will clearly state that you were approved
